Dove World Outreach Center is a place of service, a place of opportunity, a place of relationships.
What can you give Christ in return for his sacrifice for you? Time, energy, thanksgiving, worship, respect for His Word and his church, money. In these ways we build His Kingdom and there is always a rich reward!
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
Practical ways to serve God:
- Come regularly to our Sunday and Wednesday Services, listen respectfully to the teaching with a desire to learn and change.
- Worship God with all your heart, sing out, lift your hands, clap, dance a bit, build a throne for God with your praise, as His Word says. Through this we bring healing and freedom for ourselves and those around us.
- Give your tithes and offerings willingly.
- Be on time or early for meetings. This shows a visible respect for God and the Pastors and builds a healthy discipline in your own life.
- Offer to take a turn caring for the children during the services so that the Mum’s and grandmothers can hear the Word preached.
- Help clean and tidy after the meals in the hall Sunday and Wednesday. Every small action of service contributes to the team’s speed and efficiency, and the relationships are a joy!
- Come and be a part of the team work in the Lisa Jones House and TS and Company during the week. We are there everyday except Mondays. Again, every small amount of time and effort given is a blessing for yourself and the team! We clean, tidy, sort donations, arrange the hall for the sales, care for the small children that come to the work with us, cook great meals together, welcome the customers, encourage and pray for them.
Service in the Kingdom brings us into healthy relationships with our leaders and coworkers, drives us onto the road of trust, and off the road of fear.
